- The story must be reasonably detailed but basic
- It must seem slightly abstract and hard to decipher this gives the viewer in cent to watch the film
Genre
- The Genre must be revealed MISE-EN-SCENE
- This should be basic to achieve however should not be underestimated as some films have accidentally attracted the wrong target audience
Sound
- This is important
- There must be a good soundtrack that has relevance to the narrative
- music,sound effects and more should highlight events of significance in the film and enhance camerawork
Editing
- This must have a perfect balance the correct amount of sound and visual effects
- smooth transitions
- appropriate alterations to lighting and other elements
References
- There should be references to the people that were involved in the creative processes and who is in the film
- The title must be displayed
- The placement of these in the scene is important this is a very key part in editing
Character
- The character must have a certain personality
- relevance to the plot
- Some sort of motive
- This can be very abstract
Setting
- This must have relevance to the narrative
- It must not be recognisable to the viewer as a place with no relevance to the plot.For example a school.
- Must be suitable for lighting
